Frédéric Laurin is a professor of economics in the Management Sciences department at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières and a research fellow at the International School of Economics at Tbilisi State University in Georgia. He holds a Ph.D in economics from the Université catholique de Louvain in Belgium and a M.Sc in administration and applied economics from École des Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC), Institut déconomie appliquée in Montreal.
He is also the author of a book on Quebec wines, Ou Sont Les Vins?
