Prof. Felicity A. Huntingford, Ph.D., is a Professor of Functional Ecology with the Fish Biology Group in the Division of Environmental and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Glasgow, Scotland. Professor Huntingford has been involved in research into fish biology for more than 35 years. She has a special interest in using behavioral techniques for improving the production and welfare of farmed fish. Her research receives funding from various agencies including the UK's NERC and BBSRC, the Royal Society of London, the Leverhulme Foundation, the Welcome Trust, the EU, and several industrial enterprises. She has written four books and published more than 200 papers in referred scientific journals. She has held a number of posts with learned societies and is currently Vice-President of the Fisheries Society of the British Isles.
