Douglas Auld is President of Loyalist College and Conjunct Professor of Economics at Trent University. He has held appointments at the University of Guelph, University of British Columbia, Duke University and York University, England. He has a Ph.D. from the Australian National University.
Dr. Auld's areas of research encompass public finance, environmental economics, wage inflation and the economics of information. His research has been published in the Canadian Journal of Economics, The Journal of Environmental Studies. The Journal of Political Economy. The Quarterly Journal of Economics, The Journal of Public Economics and other professional publications. His research output totals over ninety journal articles, monographs and books. He has served as a consultant to many private and public companies and agencies.
