Lawrence Southwick
Dr. Southwick's interests are in the area of applied microeconomics. He is widely published in education economics, medical and legal economics, public policy, and the economics of local governments, including work in the prestigious American Economic Review. He is author of a text, Managerial Economics. For 20 years, Dr. Southwick served as Councilman of the Town of Amherst, a community of more than 110,000 people. He has also acted as an economic consultant in a number of tort cases.
