Adam Found is an Assistant Professor at Trent University, where he teaches public finance, urban economics and econometrics. He received a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Toronto in 2014, where he specialized in public finance and industrial organization. For his thesis work he was awarded the 2009 Alan Broadbent Fellowship by the Institute of Municipal Finance and Governance as well as the 2013 C. Lowell Harriss Dissertation Fellowship by the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy. Versions of his thesis work have been published by the Institute of Municipal Finance and Governance and the C.D. Howe Institute. In 2014, he was appointed a Fellow-in-Residence and a National Council member at the C.D. Howe Institute, where he has published work on public finance and business taxation since 2012.
