Rainer Knopff, Professor Emeritus of Political Science at the University of Calgary and Senior Fellow with the Fraser Institute, has written widely on constitutional law and politics. His books include The Charter Revolution and the Court Party and Charter Politics (both with F.L. Morton), and Human Rights and Social Technology (with Tom Flanagan). Professor Knopff has served as a researcher and consultant for the House of Commons Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights, the Government of Alberta, and the federal Department of Justice. He was also a member of the Governor General Executive Advisory Committee and the federal Electoral Boundaries Commission for Alberta.
