Debbie Henney teaches economics at Mesa Community College, in Mesa, Arizona, where she is also Director of the Honors Program and the MCC Center for Economic Education.  She began presenting programs as a Mentor Teacher for the Foundation for Teaching Economics in 2006 and is currently the Director of Curriculum for the FTE. Debbie spent the first ten years of her career teaching economics in the high school classroom and later championed economic education efforts as Executive Director of the Arizona Council on Economic Education and President of the Arizona Council for the Social Studies.  She is the author of economic education lessons for the k-12 classroom and regularly presents programs, workshops, in-service trainings, and week-long residential programs for schools, students and teachers.

Ninos Pierre Malek is a Professor of Economics at De Anza College in Cupertino, California and a Lecturer in the Economics department at San Jose State University in San Jose, California. Dr. Malek is also currently a mentor Economics teacher at Valley Christian High School in San Jose, California where he previously taught both regular Economics and AP Economics for 15 years.  He earned his B.A. and M.A. in Economics from San Jose State University and a Ph.D. in Economics from George Mason University. Dr. Malek has been recognized for his teaching excellence at both the high school and college level and he placed second in the Economics Communicators Contest in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2008 sponsored by The Association of Private Enterprise Education. Dr. Malek has written several opinion pieces for the Ludwig von Mises Institute and The Foundation for Economic Education. He is also a featured speaker for Learn Liberty, an educational resource produced by the Institute for Humane Studies at George Mason University.
