About the Event
In the Economic Freedom of the World Teacher Workshop, an award winning economics educator presents on eight lesson plans which highlight the impact of economic freedom on global prosperity. The content of these lessons directly complement the Canadian and World Studies curriculum (Economics, Geography, and Politics).
With materials updated in 2017, and using the new Economic Freedom of The World website, this workshop provides teachers with an interactive learning experience that examines the recent recession and resulting impact on economic freedom. Each teacher leaves with detailed lesson plans, to integrate into their classrooms, and a copy of the 2016 Economic Freedom of the World wall map.
