Rating Global Economic Freedom

Printer-friendly version

This book is a decisive step forward in the intellectual development of the concept of economic freedom. It contributes both to the debate about alternative conceptualizations of economic liberty and to the empirical implementation of the various characterizations.

Drawn from two Liberty Fund-Fraser Institute conferences, the selected essays provide a guide for the development of comparative indexes of economic freedom. The studies look at comparisons of economic freedom in specific markets across countries and at aggregate indexes of national economic freedom in countries around the world.
