Land Use Restrictions & Housing Affordability
Join Emily Hamilton as she covers the importance of cities in economic growth. Many exchanges and innovations are specific to the time and place where they happen, and cities provide the location where a huge share of economic activity takes place. Ms. Hamilton will cover the link between local zoning rules and other policies that constrain the supply of new housing supply. These rules are not only causing housing affordability problems, but they’re also preventing many people from living in the places where their best economic opportunities are located. Ms. Hamilton will explore recent reforms including some that have been proven to deliver large increases in new housing.

Freedom & Fortune: Lessons for Business and Governance
Join Mr. Gessaroli as he examines "The Great Enrichment," a remarkable period of economic growth over the past 200 years. He’ll highlight economic freedom as a fundamental driver of prosperity, challenging traditional views centered on resources and government expansion. With insights into the significance of individual autonomy, minimal government interference, and how the emergence of the middle class fostered innovation and wealth creation, Mr. Gessaroli explores how these principles apply to modern business management, personal success, and effective government policies.
